WETSHIELD is a quality water soluble low sheen urethane that has been adapted for several uses in conjunction with CD50. Most other urethanes will not adhere to CD50.

When CD50 is used inside, it must be protected from mild acid or alkaline splashes which could occur in spa rooms, kitchens and toilets. Such splashes would leave bleach marks on the surface. WETSHIELD is designed to use over CD50 to protect the surface.

WETSHIELD can be used in high use interior areas where dirt and grime may accumulate on CD50 treated surfaces e.g. doors, window sills and other working surfaces. WETSHIELD gives a surface that can be wiped clean.

WETSHIELD is also used where CD50 treated timber abuts other surfaces, such as gib board, plaster etc. which could absorb the CD50 and become stained.

WETSHIELD can also be used directly on timber not protected with CD50.
